Coaching
Though we have experience that has included being therapists, trainers and leaders – we have found that coaching is the most effective approach to assist teams in achieving the change they desire. Coaching is a facilitative rather than directive process and taps into the creativity inherent within each of the team members. This increases awareness and allows for goals and solutions to emerge from the people with whom we work. We help teams focus on the results they want to achieve and support them along their path to success.
Practical Skill-Building
In addition to facilitating learning and growth through coaching, we also share many tangible tips by offering keys to success that are quite practical and easy to utilize ongoing. This skill-building is focused on strategies to increase focus, cohesiveness and accountability. This includes though is certainly not limited to building team member capacity in the following areas:
These practices are designed to empower the team for long-term utilization without relying on an outside facilitator or coach in the future.
Overcoming Immunity to Change
All of our programs include utilization of the model for overcoming Immunity to Change that was created by Robert Kegan and Lisa Lahey. We feel it is essential for individuals, couples and teams to be aware of what is preventing successful achievement of goals so they can focus on learning in a more transformational manner.
Evidence Based Models
Specific models that our work is based on includes Organizational and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC), Emotional and Social Intelligence, Adult Development, Positive Psychology, Gestalt, and various theories of Change. We pull from a variety of evidence based approaches and utilize the best keys for success in a customized manner for the benefit of each couple we work with. We are deeply appreciative to our mentors and educational institutions that include though are not limited to: CRR Global, Fielding Graduate University, Robert Kegan and Lisa Lahey, Marty Brounstein, Hal and Sidra Stone, and Saybrook University.
